Halo Practices a Grand Entrance Into an Empty Room

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

Halo rehearsed the entrance carefully: soft glow, gentle wave, inspiring pause.

The door opened. Nobody was there.

Halo tried again with slightly more glow. Still nobody.

Professor Fluff found the student practicing for an audience of chairs. She explained that the class had moved to the garden.

Halo hurried outside, arrived out of breath, and said hello without any effects at all. Everyone made room on the bench.

The conversation was already interesting. Somebody had lost a hat; somebody else had found an excellent joke.

Halo forgot about the entrance and enjoyed the afternoon.

Later, the professor asked which arrival had worked best.

The one where people were, Halo admitted.
