He arrived with notes on the entrance, the welcome, the lighting, and the philosophical implications of the coat hook.

The waiter offered to take his coat. Nib asked whether the hook had relevant experience.

At the next table, Mr. Buttons was simply enjoying lunch. This distracted Nib. How could anyone eat without first evaluating the room's narrative?

The bear invited him over. They talked about the weather, a funny drawing, and a truck that thought it was a train.

Nib forgot to take notes for twenty whole minutes.

Later, his review said the best part of the restaurant was the company.

The coat hook received an honorable mention for keeping its opinions to itself.
