A Snack Board With a Seating Plan

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

Nib arranged the pretend snack board like a formal dinner. The crackers sat together, the cheese had a corner office, and two grapes were separated because they had history.

Mr. Buttons asked what history grapes could possibly have.

Nib declined to discuss private matters.

A biscuit arrived without a reservation. The crackers said there was no room. The biscuit offered to stand, which was impressive for a biscuit.

Then somebody moved the cheese. The entire seating plan collapsed. A cracker found itself beside a fruit and began questioning the host's standards.

Nib announced open seating. The guests relaxed immediately.

The biscuit made friends with everyone. The grapes resolved their differences, which had concerned who rolled where.

Mr. Buttons complimented the evening. Nib accepted the praise while quietly shredding seventeen place cards.
