Halo Learns the Difference Between Helping and Taking Over

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

A classmate was painting a small cloud. Halo offered to help and, within minutes, had redesigned the sky.

There were labels, a new color plan, and a proposed grand opening. The original painter sat quietly holding a brush.

Professor Fluff asked whose picture it was.

Halo looked at the enormous project and then at the small cloud underneath it.

The classmate had only wanted someone to hold the water cup.

Halo apologized, removed the labels, and held the cup.

The finished painting was charming. It contained one small cloud exactly where its painter wanted it.

At the exhibition, Halo resisted the urge to explain the earlier plan. Instead, the student asked the artist about the picture.

The answer was much more interesting than the proposed grand opening had been.
