Nib Reviews the Invisible Cafe

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

The Invisible Cafe had no walls, no chairs, and no menu. Nib described the decor as restrained.

The waiter brought an imaginary sandwich. Nib admired its lightness. A second imaginary sandwich arrived, identical to the first except for the explanation.

This one was seasonal.

Nib nodded knowingly. He could practically imagine the difference.

The neighboring table complained about slow service. The waiter pointed out that their order had arrived several minutes ago; they simply could not see it.

At the end of the meal, the bill was remarkably visible.

Nib paid with imaginary money. The waiter looked concerned.

Consistency matters, Nib said.

His review awarded five stars for atmosphere and zero for portions, although he admitted the portion assessment was difficult.

The cafe replied that the missing stars were also invisible.
