The Banana Has Requested Better Lighting

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

In Nib's imaginary food studio, the banana refused to be photographed under the ceiling light. It brought out the wrong curves.

The apple said this was nonsense. The apple had been waiting for forty minutes and was beginning to look impatiently round.

Nib moved the lamp. The banana requested a reflector, a stylist, and a smaller apple in the background.

The pear offered to mediate but was told its silhouette complicated the composition.

Finally, the photographer took the picture without asking anyone. It was excellent.

The banana complained that its good side had not been consulted. The apple complained that the banana occupied most of the frame.

Nib published a photograph of the empty fruit bowl instead.

Critics called it a brave statement about absence. The bowl asked whether there would be a fee.
