Kit stood before the window with a pointer.

'This morning, expect brightness. Later, curtains.'

Roo asked whether the forecast covered outdoors.

'Our budget currently covers this side of the glass.'

Kit described a warm patch on the carpet moving eastward. A stuffed rabbit had already occupied it.

By afternoon, the patch reached the bookcase. The rabbit followed, leaving a trail of abandoned reading material.

Roo praised the forecast's accuracy.

Then someone switched on a lamp.

Kit stared at the new bright patch. 'An unexpected local sunshine event.'

The rabbit attempted to occupy both patches and fell gently onto a cushion.

The evening forecast was revised to include scattered lamps, increasing coziness, and a high probability that the rabbit would request a larger weather map.
