The Zombie Carpool Has Excellent Attendance, Eventually

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

The cartoon carpool met at eight, approximately. Zed arrived at eight with a note explaining that he might be late.

The driver was already waiting at the wrong corner. Another passenger was waiting at the correct corner on the wrong day.

A group chat formed. It contained forty-seven messages asking where everyone was and one photograph of a very nice tree.

Zed proposed one meeting point, one time, and one person responsible for confirming them.

The next morning, everyone arrived together. The silence was extraordinary.

They had left so much room for delays that they were now early.

The passengers admired the tree from the previous day's photograph.

Zed called it a successful outing. The driver reminded them they had not departed yet.

For this particular carpool, that was still measurable progress.
