The cartoon neighborhood of Mildly Spooky Lane has excellent community spirit and a recurring problem with remembering why anybody entered a room. Zed, its smallest zombie resident, is enthusiastic about ordinary life but baffled by most of the instructions. These are gentle, fictional monster comedies rather than horror stories: no gore, no frightening danger, just undead characters discovering that neighborhood administration can outlast almost anything.
