Nobody Passed the Snack Expense Audit

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

Pip opened the expense audit with a difficult question: who had authorized the second pretend biscuit?

Mr. Buttons produced a form bearing Pip's handprint. Pip studied it carefully. The signature was excellent, but the approval process remained troubling.

The duck's claim for a business lunch was rejected because ducks did not have pockets for receipts. The toy truck's mileage claim was rejected because it had traveled in circles.

Then the bear found the executive account. It listed twelve biscuits, a decorative napkin, and something called strategic cheese.

Pip explained that leadership required difficult investments.

The committee recommended a simpler system: everyone would get the same pretend snack. Pip welcomed the transparency and immediately requested a larger transparent bowl.

The audit ended with no savings, but several very professional-looking crumbs.
