Pip Announces a Merger With the Toy Basket

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

The toy basket learned about the merger when Pip put a sticker on it reading MINE INTERNATIONAL. No negotiations had occurred, but the sticker was quite persuasive.

Mr. Buttons asked what the basket would contribute. Pip pointed to everything inside it. Asked what he would contribute, Pip pointed to himself.

The financial outlook was described as colorful. There were concerns about a shortage of wheels on one truck, but Pip classified that as an innovation opportunity.

A press conference followed. The duck asked about job security. Pip reassured everyone by appointing himself to every job.

By lunchtime, the basket was back in its usual corner. Nothing had changed except the sticker and the bear's title, now Senior Vice President of Putting Things Back.

The merger was celebrated with an enormous announcement and a very small cracker.
