The Meeting That Could Have Been a Babble

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

Pip called an emergency meeting because the meeting bell had not been used since breakfast. Mr. Buttons brought a notebook. The rubber duck joined remotely from a photograph.

Item one was an update on item two, which had not been identified. Pip tapped his spoon on the table. Mr. Buttons wrote, Strong opening.

After fourteen minutes, the duck was promoted for excellent listening. The bear asked whether there was a decision to record. Pip considered this an exciting opportunity for a separate meeting.

They scheduled it for immediately.

At the end of the day, the nursery had produced six invitations, three action lists, and no actions. Pip declared the collaboration a success. Then he sent a one-word email explaining the whole situation.

It said, Ba.

Mr. Buttons stared at the screen. It really could have been an email.
