The Zombie Bake Sale Sells the Signs First

A fictional comedy from CyberBabiez. The characters and events are invented.

Zed made excellent signs for the neighborhood's pretend bake sale. The lettering was bold, the arrows were helpful, and the drawings looked delicious.

Unfortunately, nobody had organized the pretend baking.

The first customer bought a sign. They needed something cheerful for their kitchen. The second bought two arrows for a confusing hallway.

Soon the table was busy. Zed added a sign saying SIGNS, which sold immediately.

The committee worried that the event had drifted from its original purpose. Zed pointed to the donation jar, now comfortably full of imaginary coins.

They renamed it the Neighborhood Sign Sale.

A late arrival asked where the cakes were.

Zed showed them a beautiful drawing.

The visitor admired it and ordered a frame. The committee agreed to describe the entire afternoon as a successful creative pivot.
